基本信息
Tempered or toughened glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. Tempering puts the outer surfaces into compression and the interior into tension. Such stresses cause the glass, when broken, to shatter into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards as ordinary annealed glass does. The granular chunks are less likely to cause injury.
No tong marks on the glass as adopts the horizontally tempering process.
5 times harder than ordinary annealed glass.
Once breakage occurs, the glass disintegrates into small cubical fragments which are relatively armless to human body.

Tempered glass產(chǎn)品概況
鋼化玻璃鋼化玻璃是將普通退火玻璃先切割成要求尺寸，然后加熱到接近軟化點(diǎn)的700度左右，再進(jìn)行快速均勻的冷卻而得到的（通常5-6MM的玻璃在700度高溫下加熱240秒左右，降溫150秒左右。8-10MM玻璃在700度高溫下加熱500秒左右，降溫300秒左右�？傊�，根據(jù)玻璃厚度不同，選擇加熱降溫的時(shí)間也不同）。鋼化處理后玻璃表面形成均勻壓應(yīng)力，而內(nèi)部則形成張應(yīng)力，使玻璃的抗彎和抗沖擊強(qiáng)度得以提高，其強(qiáng)度約是普通退火玻璃的四倍以上。已鋼化處理好的鋼化玻璃，不能再作任何切割、磨削等加工或受破損，否則就會(huì)因破壞均勻壓應(yīng)力平衡而“粉身碎骨”。
